Having grown up under the canopy of the coffee trees on the family farm, it was only natural that when the time came for a new generation to run things, brothers Fabio and Cleber Silva rose to the measure. They have turned the farm even more into a family affair, with their wives and children helping out where they can. Crediting their grandfather with having taught them how to love coffee and not treat it as a cash crop, the brothers don’t mind toiling the fields from dusk till dawn.
We propose this lot as an option for those who look for a little more roast and less brightness in their brew. We've taken our foot off the brake and leaned into a more traditional flavour profile with lots of body and caramelised sugars. Coffees from Brazil have a nutty character that matches that profile to a T, but this lot has a surprising twist: especially when cooling down notes of wild fruit start bubbling up.
